Character Portraits

I really love to photograph people, and the most interesting about it is how they react to the camera. You can't duplicate a mood or an attitude when it's genuine. Another essential part of a character portrait is lighting. I feel that being simple is better, yet providing the most drama possible.
Black and White images sometimes bring out more in a person because it simplifies the character, as well as removes distractions of color. Color is wonderful especially for bridal images, but removing color can give a timeless look to an image.
